A couple of my latest commissions

At the moment, the majority of my time is being spent preparing and finishing natural edge bowls. These are becoming ever more popular, especially the larger designs. Here’s some which I’ve made just recently…

The image above is of a set of ten natural edge yew bowls, which have been commissioned by a gallery in South Korea - I think this must be the furthest I have sent them! They are all made from the same tree and feature a mix of brushed and bark edges.

Below is a rather impressive natural edge burr elm piece, ordered as a gift for a birthday. That jagged edge is certainly rather special…
