Here’s some images of an impressive natural edge design I've completed, which will soon be featured on my site. Turned from a single piece of yew, it measures 48 cm across and displays a remarkable organic shape.

I acquired a very large yew trunk back in 2017 and have been seasoning the wood since then. The colours and grain markings are stunning - I do love working with yew! I’ve carefully removed all of the bark on this one, so that the texture of the sapwood can be seen. There’s even a natural hole visible too…
